About Mark

S’appnin? Seeing as how you’re nosing about the place I may as well give you run down. I live in Coatbridge (near Glasgow) with my wife Leigh-Anne and our 7 year-old daughter Edith – who has since left the Beyonce-esque independent phase and is now just a full on wideo. She seems to have a different eye roll for every occasion.

Alongside celebrancy I work as a mental health social worker and Mental Health Officer. I’ve been working in crisis intervention and suicide prevention for around about 15 years. So the old celebrancy game is a good counter balance for me.

When I’m not working, spending time with the family or doing ceremonies; I like to stick Netflix on and then ignore it by scrolling through my phone for a good coupla hours. That said, we usually have music on in our house and I will give most music a wee hurl. Except George Ezra. Edith has him playing on repeat and – even though he seems like a nice dude – I could easily live without his insipid tunes.

m partial to the odd craft beer and trying new rums (that’s the hipster market covered) and when I’ve got time I’m into football and boxing. I used to be a qualified boxing referee and I’m happy to whip out the old bow tie again if it all kicks off – I like to think that I cover all bases.

“Everyone commented on how lovely and personal it was…”

“Mark was amazing! He made our wedding so personal and had all the guests laughing and enjoying themselves all the way though – he really set the tone for a really fun day. The lead up was pretty rushed (due to us – not Mark) and he was so accommodating. Thanks so much Mark!”

Lily Priggs

“The tone was set for the rest of the day for our sons Naming day with an excellent ceremony – that was both hilarious and emotional. All the guests commented enthusiastically how much they loved the ceremony and how personal, intimate and funny it was in comparison to any other ceremony they had experienced.

Mark was extremely patient and flexible, and wanted to get everything just right. We would highly recommend Mark.”

Samantha Aire

“Thank you so much for our wedding ceremony! It was really great and everyone commented on how lovely and personal it was after – also for keeping us chill in the run-up and making some of the planning actually fun!
